Decatur – Anna L. Connours, 104, of Decatur passed away at 7:20 p.m., March 31, 2011 in Heritage Manor Nursing Home.

 A celebration of her life will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2011 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Wray Offerman officiating.  Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon till service time at the church.  Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery.  Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.  Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or the L.S.A.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.dawson-wikoff.com.

 Anna was born January 22, 1907 in Decatur, the daughter of Gustav and Augusta (Babel) Tauber.  She was a life-long member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.  She attended school in St. Paul’s Lutheran School and went on to graduate in 1925 from Decatur High School.  She married William Harold Connours on October 10, 1930.  He preceded her in death on July 9, 1976.

 Surviving is her daughter: Delores Moore and her husband James of Decatur; daughter-in-law: Vickie K. Connours of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren: Bryan Moore of Decatur, Lara Mooney and her husband Chris of St. Louis, MO and Tracy Connours of St. Louis, MO; great-grandchildren: Drake, Austin and Hunter also survive.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son: William G. Connours; two brothers and three sisters.
